Myogi-san Loop — Gunma's Crag Mountain Sanctuary.
Mt Myogi is one of Japan's three great strange-rock mountains — a skyline of jagged volcanic spires above the Gunma plains. The looping roads beneath the crags (Route 196 and the Myogi ridge road) deliver tight, technical riding past the ornate Edo-era Myogi Shrine and the giant bronze Daikoku of Nakanotake Shrine. Short, steep, and dramatic — a rider's sanctuary under the pinnacles.
