The Nasu Kogen Line climbs from the imperial highland resort of Nasushiobara to the steaming flanks of Mt Chausu, Nasu's active volcano. Past the ancient sulphur springs of Nasu Yumoto to the road's end at Touge-no-chaya, where the Nasu Ropeway lifts riders toward the crater.
