Overview

Izu Peninsula — Nishi-Izu Skyline & Dogashima Coast.

The Izu Peninsula south of Tokyo offers the best coastal riding near Japan's capital. The Nishi-Izu Skyline runs along mountain ridges with views of the Pacific on one side and Mt Fuji on the other on clear days. The Dogashima coast has dramatic sea caves and cliffs eroded into bizarre formations.
