The Shigisan-Ikoma Skyline runs the length of the Ikoma mountain ridge on the Osaka-Nara border, famous for the great night views over the city lights of the Kansai region. By day it is a quiet sweeping ridge road linking the mountaintop temples of Hozan-ji and Chogosonshi-ji before dropping into the ancient capital of Nara.
