A short but stunning loop above Shizuoka on the Nihondaira plateau, long rated among the finest coastal panoramas in Japan. On clear days Mount Fuji rises across Suruga Bay while tea terraces roll down to the sea. The route visits Kunozan Tosho-gu, the original 1617 shrine of shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu, and finishes along the pine-lined sandbar of Miho no Matsubara.
