The closest real coastal ride to Tokyo. From the ancient samurai capital of Kamakura the route follows the Shonan and Sagami Bay shoreline south down the Miura Peninsula, passing the imperial-villa town of Hayama and surf beaches, to the tuna port of Misaki and the basalt cliffs of Cape Jogashima at the peninsula's very tip. On clear days Mt Fuji floats across the bay the whole way.
