The forgotten old road over the High Atlas. Before the Tichka highway existed, every caravan crossed here — from the Glaoui palace-kasbah of Telouet down the red Ounila Valley to Aït Benhaddou. Part rough piste, part fresh tarmac, threading kasbahs, film sets and river-cut canyons all the way to Ouarzazate.
