The legendary Jebel Saghro crossing — a rugged 4x4 piste over the Tizi n'Tazazert pass (2,283m) linking the Saharan oasis of N'Kob with the Todra oasis town of Tinghir. Volcanic black-rock desert peaks, Aït Atta nomad camps and almost no traffic. Mostly unpaved and demanding: carry water and fuel.

N'KobStart · Oasis town at the foot of Jebel Saghro. Fuel up and fill water — no reliable fuel again until Tinghir. Kasbahs and the Bab n'Ali trailhead are nearby.
Tizi n'Tazazert Pass (2,283m)Mountain Pass · The high pass over the volcanic spine of Jebel Saghro. Mostly unpaved 4x4 track; a small café and hotel sit at the top. Black basalt peaks in every direction.
IkniouenScenic Point · The only real village in the massif — a Berber settlement with water, mint tea and simple tajine. Aït Atta heartland.
TinghirEnd · Descend to the N10 and the vast Todra palm oasis. End at Tinghir — fuel, mechanics and the gateway to the Todra Gorge.
