The adventurer's link between Morocco's two great gorges. Ride up the switchbacks of the Dadès Gorge, then take the wild R704 across a 2,000m+ Berber plateau east to Tamtetoucht and down through the slot canyon of the Todra Gorge. The plateau section is rough and remote — high-clearance and fuel discipline required.

Boumalne DadèsStart · Gateway to the Dadès Gorge. Fuel up — this is the last reliable station before the plateau — and turn north up the R704 into the canyon.
Monkey Fingers RocksScenic Point · The eroded 'monkey fingers' formations at the lower gorge — surreal wind-sculpted sandstone fins beside the road.
Dadès Gorge HairpinsMountain Pass · The famous switchback wall — a dozen tight hairpins stacked up the cliff. Morocco's most photographed road bend; pull off at the café above for the view down.
