Konkan Coast Highway — Mumbai to Goa.
Two days down the Konkan Coast on NH66 from Mumbai through fortress sea-towns and Konkani fishing villages to Goa. Day 1 follows the Maharashtra coast past the offshore Janjira fort and the long crescent of Ganpatipule beach to the mango-and-Konkani capital of Ratnagiri. Day 2 picks up the rocky Sindhudurg coast at Malvan and Tarkarli before crossing the border into Goa for Panaji and the Mandovi River.
