A dramatic Sahyadri crossing from the Deccan plateau down to the Konkan coast. The 10km Varandha Ghat clings to a sheer escarpment with valley views on one side and waterfalls on the other, spectacular in the monsoon. A short detour visits the Shivthar Ghal caves.
