Chikhaldara & Melghat — Amravati Hill Station Loop.
Vidarbha's only hill station, reached by a winding climb from the plains at Amravati into the Satpura range on the edge of the Melghat Tiger Reserve. Cool coffee-growing highlands, a Mahabharata-era legend at Bhimkund and sweeping Gawilgad fort views reward the ascent.
