Overview

Amboli Ghat — Sawantwadi to the Cherrapunji of Maharashtra.

An easy, atmospheric climb from the Konkan town of Sawantwadi into Amboli, the last hill station before Goa and one of the rainiest places in Maharashtra. Mist-wrapped hairpins, roaring monsoon waterfalls, a cave-shrine river source and a cliff-edge sunset over the coastal plains. Magical from June to November.
