Chorla Ghat — Belgaum to Goa Frontier Descent.
A short but spectacular descent from the Karnataka plateau at Belagavi down the Chorla Ghat, the forested escarpment where Goa, Karnataka and Maharashtra meet. The road twists through the biodiverse Mhadei rainforest before dropping into Goa's green interior at Valpoi and Sanquelim. Cool, misty and largely empty of traffic — magical in and just after the monsoon.
