A gentle two-day loop through the Dhauladhar foothills of Himachal Pradesh, from the plains railhead at Pathankot into Chamba district. It links the Raj-era hill station of Dalhousie, the saucer-shaped alpine meadow of Khajjiar known as India's Mini Switzerland, the turquoise Chamera reservoir, and the thousand-year-old temple town of Chamba on the Ravi River. Mostly smooth tarmac through deodar forest — an easy introduction to Himalayan riding.
