Overview

Rann of Kutch — Bhuj to Dhordo White Desert Loop.

A 2-day loop into the world's largest salt desert, the Great Rann of Kutch in Gujarat. From the historic walled city of Bhuj, the route crosses Banni grasslands to Dhordo's tent city on the edge of the salt flats, climbs Kala Dungar (Black Hill) — the highest point in Kutch with views into Pakistan — and returns via Lakhpat ghost-fort and Mandvi's wooden-dhow shipbuilding beach. The full-moon nights here are the bucket-list reason to come (Nov–Feb during Rann Utsav).
