A mountain road into the Sierra de la Demanda, the wild south-western corner of La Rioja. From the Camino de Santiago town of Santo Domingo de la Calzada the road follows the Oja valley to the resort town of Ezcaray, then climbs the forested slopes to Valdezcaray, the highest ski station of the Sistema Ibérico, beneath the 2,271m San Lorenzo massif.
