A half-day loop straight from Logroño into the sierra foothills. The LR-460 climbs to Clavijo, where a Reconquista castle stands on a knife-edge of rock above the Ebro plain — the legendary 844 battle site. From there quiet back-roads drop into the little-visited Jubera valley, old lead-mining country dotted with hilltop ruins, before looping back to the capital. Some narrow, patchy sections near the castle.
