CurarrehueScenic Point · Mapuche cultural village on Route 199 toward the Argentine border. Indigenous restaurants and craft markets in the central plaza.
Villarrica National ParkMountain Pass · Gravel mountain road through ancient Araucaria pine forest. Slate-grey lava flows from past Villarrica eruptions visible from the road.

CoñaripeScenic Point · Lakeside village on Lago Calafquén. The 1964 Villarrica eruption destroyed much of the town — rebuilt and beautiful again.
VillarricaScenic Point · Larger sister town on the western shore of Lago Villarrica. Ride the southern lakeshore road back to Pucón for double the volcano views.
PucónEnd · End back in Pucón. A Kunstmann lager at a lakefront bar with Villarrica pink in the sunset is the proper finish.
