Camino del Cuadrado — Córdoba Sierras Chicas Loop.
A classic Sierras de Córdoba day loop linking the Sierras Chicas with the Punilla Valley over the Camino del Cuadrado (RP E-98), a serpentine mountain crossing beloved by Córdoba riders. From the reservoir towns north of the city the road climbs through granite hills and native forest to the resort towns of the Punilla, then recrosses the range east over the Cuesta El Pungo to Jesuit estancia country.

CórdobaStart · Start in Argentina's second city. Fuel up and stock water before heading north into the Sierras Chicas on the RP E-53.
Río CeballosScenic Point · Reservoir town and gateway to the Sierras Chicas. The Dique La Quebrada above town is a pretty warm-up before the climbing begins.
SalsipuedesFuel Stop · Last reliable fuel before the Camino del Cuadrado. The RP E-98 climb starts here — tight, cambered switchbacks over the range.
La FaldaRestaurant · Drop into the Punilla Valley at this old spa town. Good lunch stop; the shuttered Hotel Edén is worth a look.
La CumbreScenic Point · Argentina's paragliding capital, perched under Cerro Cuchi Corral. From here the road turns east over the Cuesta El Pungo (RP E-66) to recross the sierra.
AscochingaScenic Point · Sleepy estancia-and-golf village at the eastern foot of the range. The winding descent from El Pungo is the reward for the climb.
Jesús MaríaEnd · Finish at this historic town, home to a UNESCO-listed Jesuit estancia and the famous January doma-and-folklore festival. Fast road back to Córdoba.
