Los Alerces National Park — Esquel & Trevelin Ancient Forest Loop.
A two-day Patagonian loop from Esquel through the Welsh village of Trevelin into UNESCO-listed Los Alerces National Park, home to millennia-old alerce (Patagonian cypress) forests and a chain of turquoise glacial lakes. Overnight at the park headquarters, then run gravel RP 71 north past the lakes before looping back to Esquel on Route 40.
