AntalyaStart · Start in Antalya old harbour (Kaleiçi). The D400 coastal highway west is well-surfaced with constant sea views. Fuel up in the city before heading out.
Phaselis RuinsScenic Point · Ancient Lycian harbour with three bays and pine-shaded ruins on the beach: Roman agora, aqueduct and theatre. 30-minute walk from the entrance gate.
Olympos & ÇıralıPhoto Spot · Hidden beach flanked by Lycian ruins and the Chimaera — a methane vent that has burned for 2,500 years, visible from the hillside at night. Excellent lunch at beachside pansiyons.
KaşOvernight · Cliff-top town with rooftop restaurants, a small Lycian theatre and turquoise water. Best overnight on the route — book ahead in July and August. Fill up the next morning.
KalkanScenic Point · Elegant hillside town above a yacht-filled bay. The approach road viewpoint over Kalkan Bay is worth a 10-minute stop; streets below are too narrow for loaded bikes.
Xanthos RuinsPhoto Spot · UNESCO-listed capital of ancient Lycia — monumental pillar tombs, Roman theatre and the famous Harpy monument. Free access; 45 minutes covers the key sites.
Ölüdeniz Blue LagoonScenic Point · The most-photographed beach in Turkey — turquoise lagoon enclosed by white sand bar with paragliders from Babadağ mountain above. Road down is steep and narrow; park at the toll gate.
FethiyeEnd · End at Fethiye marina. Lycian rock tombs are carved into the cliff behind town and lit at night. Excellent seafood restaurants along the waterfront.
