The classic old road over La Línea crosses the Cordillera Central between Tolima and Quindío. Now bypassed by an 8.6km tunnel, the original pass climbs to 3,300m of misty páramo lined with roadside food stalls before descending into the heart of Colombia's UNESCO Coffee Cultural Landscape around Armenia.
