From there, the 21km climb to Lake Mountain Alpine Resort tops out at 1,433m — Australia's most-visited snow resort. The descent back through Marysville continues onto the Reefton Spur (C512), 30km of advisory-posted corners through ancient temperate rainforest to Warburton.
