The Black Spur is 30km of mountain ash hairpins between Healesville and Narbethong — one of Australia's most photogenic short rides. Towering eucalypts form a green tunnel, the road is regularly damp with mist, and generations of Melburnian motorcyclists have cut their teeth here. This run continues east through rebuilt Marysville to Lake Mountain Alpine Resort for a panoramic finish at 1,433m.
