West GlacierStart · Park entrance, west side. Fuel at Hungry Horse (5 km before entry) — none inside the park. Arrive early to secure Logan Pass parking.
Apgar VillageScenic Point · First view of Lake McDonald — 16 km long and among the clearest lakes in the US. Visitor center and coffee at Apgar Village.
Lake McDonald LodgePhoto Spot · A 1914 Swiss-chalet hunting lodge perfectly mirrored in the calm lake. The colorful rounded lakeshore pebbles are a Glacier signature.
The LoopScenic Point · The road's most dramatic hairpin — cut directly into the cliff face. Views plunge 600 m to the valley floor below.
Weeping WallPhoto Spot · A waterfall cascades directly across the road from the cliff above. Slow down and ride through it — you will get wet.
Logan PassMountain Pass · Continental Divide at 2,026 m. Mountain goats graze the parking area. Walk the Hidden Lake Overlook trail (3 km) for the defining Glacier experience.
