Two days from the WWII Death Railway museum town of Kanchanaburi north on Highway 323 to the Mon-majority lake town of Sangkhlaburi, then up to the Three Pagodas Pass at the Burmese border. The route passes the Bridge over the River Kwai, Hellfire Pass cutting, Sai Yok Yai waterfall, and the 850m Mon Bridge — the longest wooden footbridge in Thailand.
