The Low Tatras (Nízke Tatry) form Slovakia's longest mountain range and offer some of Central Europe's finest forest riding. This 130km traverse crosses from Banská Bystrica north over the Donovaly Pass (960m), drops into the Liptov region, and finishes via the Demanovská Valley with its famous ice cave and Chopok cable car. Sweeping bends through pine and beech forest, light traffic outside ski season.
