Tazekka National Park — Taza to Bab Bou Idir Loop.
A cool, forested loop out of the historic caravan town of Taza into Tazekka National Park, where cedar and cork-oak forest cloak the mountains between the Rif and the Middle Atlas. The road climbs past the vast open cavern of the Friouato Caves and the seasonal lake-bed of Daya Chiker to the highland resort village of Bab Bou Idir, then loops back to Taza. A green, uncrowded escape rarely on the tourist trail.
