Riders leave in the dark to climb the 40 hairpin bends of Nandi Betta, an ancient hill fortress of Tipu Sultan at 1,478m, for a sea-of-clouds sunrise over the Deccan plateau. The base holds a jewel of a 9th-century Ganga-era stone temple. An easy, addictive weekend loop.
