A compact, characterful day in Himachal's Tirthan and Banjar valleys, climbing the narrow, often broken road to the 3,120 m Jalori Pass. Apple orchards, trout streams and the wooden-chalet village of Jibhi bookend a sharp ascent to a ridge of temples and trailheads. Snowbound December to March.

BanjarScenic Point · Hub of the Tirthan valley; apple orchards and trout streams. Gateway to the Great Himalayan National Park.

Jalori PassMountain Pass · 3,120 m. Mahakali temple at the top; trailheads to Serolsar Lake and Raghupur Fort. Steep, narrow and broken in places — ride within your limits. Closed by snow Dec–Mar.
JibhiEnd · Descend back to Jibhi for a riverside homestay night and local siddu and trout.
