Grimsel Pass — Switzerland.
The Grimselpass (2,164 m) connects the Haslital and Goms valleys through the heart of the Bernese Alps, passing hydroelectric dams, glacial lakes of impossible blue-green colour, and a moonscape of granite. The serpentine descent toward the Rhône Glacier on the south side is one of Switzerland's most technically satisfying pass roads — long consistent arcs, good pavement, and zero guardrail mercy.
