Lions Road — Beaudesert to Kyogle Border Loop.
A legendary border-ranges run built by the Lions Clubs of Beaudesert and Kyogle in 1971. From Rathdowney the road follows Running Creek and the old Sydney-Brisbane rail line up over the McPherson Range, where the Border Loop spiral tunnel coils the track through 360 degrees. Tight, forested and beloved by Queensland and northern-NSW riders.
