The Furka Pass (2,429 m) connects the cantons of Uri and Valais in the Swiss Alps, passing the famous Rhône Glacier where a 007 car chase scene was filmed. The road is a series of perfectly graded alpine switchbacks through stark, treeless terrain above the snow line — pure high-altitude riding.
