Omeo Highway — Omeo to Tallangatta via the Mitta Valley.
One of Victoria's great alpine backroads, running the length of the Mitta Mitta valley. From the gold-mining town of Omeo the highway climbs and winds past the historic Blue Duck Inn and the old Glen Wills diggings — a partly unsealed high-country section — before easing down the beautiful Mitta valley to Lake Hume at Tallangatta.
